Benefit Roller Lash Mascara: Review

There is a ton of hype surrounding the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a sample from Ulta last week. The Mascara is due to launch this Friday. I went to Ulta today and the place was plastered in Benefit Roller Lash Posters. Benefit is promoting the crap out of this Mascara so I have got me some high expectations people.

I have been giving the Mascara a try for a few days now. When I initially apply the mascara it lives up to its claims. It separates and curls my lashes. After a few hours of wear I do notice that this mascara does run in the very corners of my eyes. I will admit that MOST mascara does this on me, but I have found a few that don’t. My eyes water and I tend to rub them from time to time so I believe that is the reason I have a hard time with Mascara. I also noticed that after some time my lashes lost any curl I started out with. This isn’t necessarily a deal breaker, but my Urban Decay Supercurl Mascara holds the curl much better and does not run.

I enjoy the way this mascara applies and wears for the first few hours, but due to the slight running I get in the corner of my eyes I do not think I will be purchasing the full size. I wish WISH WISH  I liked this Mascara enough to buy it because the packaging is just soooo darn cute, but I am trying not to be a sucker for that kind of thing.

You will be able to purchase the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara February 27th in stores and online at Ulta and Sephora.

Have you tried this Mascara? What do you think? Do you have favorite Mascara?
