A Classy Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July!!! This has been a wonderful weekend so far. We decided to stay around town instead of attempting a quick trip (which can be stressful especially with a toddler). I am SO glad we did. Yesterday was a fabulous day. My hubby, daughter and I spent the morning messing around the house and playing outside. Later we met up with family to swim. I LOVE swimming. I’m pretty sure I was a mermaid in another life. This morning we are participating in some local Independence Day fun that’s going on at the park just across my house. I chose this classic ensemble for a BBQ with some friends and family later tonight. It’s perfect for getting into the spirit of the holiday, but with a touch of class! To me everything about this outfit screams America. When I am wearing it I just want to be holding a hot apple pie!
